The charm and character of historic homes just can't be replicated! In 2014, I was so excited to buy our beautiful 1920s brick tudor home. However, soon after we moved in, we found some pretty big (expensive) surprises. So, I understand the practical side of historic homeownership as well.
I want my clients to be able to enjoy their homes and feel confident in their decision. Since 2014 I have been continually learning about older homes and how construction methods and materials have changed over the years. My goal is to educate my clients on what parts of their home will be easy to maintain and update versus items which may cause a headache or lead to large expenses.
